RISC COMMUNITY PROBLEMS MEETING – November 9

RISC’s Community Problems Assembly is on November 9th at 7pm in the sanctuary at St. Elizabeth’s. We will then zoom in with all of the other RISC congregations. The point of this assembly is to select the Care For Creation issue we will focus on for this upcoming year. Care For Creation is joining Affordable Housing and Gun Violence as our key issues for the year.

LOGO CONTEST FOR CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION – November 17

The Centennial Committee announced a logo design contest to celebrate Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church 100th anniversary. The theme is ” Beacon of Hope.” Click this link to read submission guidelines. Share the contest with the artist in your family, neighborhood, or school. Deadline is Wednesday November 17. The artist who created the winning design will receive a $50 gift card!

RALLY FOR PAID SICK DAYS

THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS

Our Social Ministry Committee is organizing food baskets for Thanksgiving. Baskets could include pantry items and gift cards for bread, dairy and meat products. If you know of a senior or family in the parish who should get a basket, please contact Mary Rose at the parish office.
