Thank you to our parish volunteers who made all the arrangements for the Bishop and the reception afterwards. The retreat and conference, Our Church, Our Story: Black Catholic Identity and Culture was November 5 – 7. Saturday, November 6, was a full day of presentations, workshops, and the keynote delivered by Dr. Tia Pratt of Villanova University. Bishop Knestout presided at the closing Mass at St. Elizabeth. The diocesan Office for Black Catholics and the National Black Catholic Congress Daniel Rudd Fund, in partnership with All Saints Catholic School, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Holy Rosary Catholic Church and St. Paul’s Catholic Church, sponsored the retreat.
