Faithful Citizenship encourages people of faith to exercise their rights and duties as participants in our democracy. November 8 is a Virginia General Election. Early voting began on September 23. Other key deadlines are coming up fast. Did you know that Virginia now offers Same Day Voter Registration? The General Assembly approved
letting eligible voters to register at any time, up to and including Election Day. You show up at your polling location, register to vote in-person and cast a provisional ballot. October 17 – Last day to register to vote
October 22 – Last day to apply to vote by mail (request absentee ballot)
November 5 – Last day for early voting
November 8 – General Election.

FAITH FORMATION FOR ADULTS & CHILDREN
Student Faith Formation: Student Faith Formation continues on Zoom or after some Sunday Masses. Youth Faith Formation starts on October 2nd. RCIA: RCIA means the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. RCIA classes will explain the Catholic Church, its teaching, and traditions. Contact Chris and Beng Metzger at [email protected]. The classes are free and on Sunday’s between the morning Masses.
