St. Elizabeth and the Catholic Diocese of Richmond are looking for men to serve as deacons. The Diocese will start formation in the fall. The first step is to contact Fr. Jim or Deacon Chris before Friday September 24, 2021. You will meet and then Father Jim will forward your name to the diocese and the office of the Permanent Diaconate.

When you are an usher, you welcome everyone who comes to Mass. As an usher you provide genuine hospitality while offering assistance and guidance in a gracious, courteous and caring manner. We are recruiting ushers to serve September to December when we change to our Fall schedule with Sunday Mass at 9:00 or 11:15 am. With the cancellation of this year’s Jazz Festival, St. Elizabeth is looking to raise the funds by selling gourmet popcorn online. The fundraiser is 100% VIRTUAL: No paperwork to fill out, no cash to collect and the popcorn is shipped right to the customer, anywhere in the USA. All purchases are done on your smartphone! Originally set to run August 19 – 22, the fundraiser will run Wednesday, September 8 – Sunday, September 12.Visit our website for more information. If you do not want to purchase popcorn, but you want to contribute to our summer fundraiser, you can donate directly to St. Elizabeth.
