JOB OPENING FOR PARISH OFFICE

St. Elizabeth is in need of a part-time (10-15 hours/week) Office Manager/Administrator. An Office Manager must work well with others, have computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft applications, and will be in charge of keeping track of parish records, sacramental records, Virtus information, ordering supplies, and keeping the office environment maintained. RISC RESEARCH KICKOFF – Monday, December 6

The Research Kickoff will be held in-person. This is where any and all Clergy, Team Leaders, and Network Members (and prospective Network Members!) gather to decide on next steps with each of our three issue campaigns – Gun Violence, Affordable Housing, and Healthy Homes & Schools. DEADLINE EXTENDED: LOGO CONTEST FOR CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION – Friday, December 10

The Centennial Committee announced a logo design contest to celebrate Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church 100th anniversary. The theme is ” Beacon of Hope.” Click this link to read submission guidelines. Share the contest with the artist in your family, neighborhood, or school. Deadline was extended from Wednesday November 17 to Friday, December 10. The artist who created the winning design will receive a $50 gift card!

SOCIAL JUSTICE COMMITTEE MEETING & POT LUCK – Wednesday, December 15

Our Social Justice Committee will hold a pot luck holiday social in the parish hall on Wednesday, December 15 at 6 pm. Set up is 5:00 pm and cleanup is immediately afterwards. If you want to attend, call the parish office and give Mary Rose your name and contact information.

2021 ANGEL TREE – Sunday, December 12

If you took a tag for the 2021 Angel Tree, deliver your gifts (unwrapped) to the parish office by Sunday, December 12. If you do not want to shop for a family, you can donate gift cards for popular stores such as Food Lion and Walmart. You can drop off the gift cards or mail them to Sister at the parish office. FAITH FORMATION FOR CHILDREN

Children’s faith formation are meeting in the rectory after the 9:00 Mass on Sunday, December 5. First Reconciliation will be held on Sunday, December 12 and 19 after the 9:00 Mass. All children are welcome to Sunday School on Sunday December 5 after 9:00 Mass. If your child is baptized and older than 7, contact Liz to have your child join our class.
