4 Ways You Can Support The Jazz Festival

1) Be a sponsor. If you are a local business, you can show your community spirit by being a sponsor of the Jazz Festival. Food vendors, small businesses, or community services, you can sponsor a vendor table. A Food Vendor = $300 and a Community Vendor = $50. (You keep all sales!) Your vendor and sponsorship fee will benefit St. Elizabeth Church’s outreach to our neighbors. Call the Parish Office at (804)-329-4599 and they will email the sponsorship packet. 2) Purchase raffle tickets. The parish is selling books of raffle tickets. The winning is a cash prize. You can purchase your book of raffle tickets after Mass. Cash and check are accepted.
3) Volunteer at the Jazz Festival. You can help plan the event, book bands, get corporate sponsors, volunteer day of or work behind the scenes. Students, you may qualify for your school’s community service hours. If you can volunteer, call the Parish Office at (804)-329-4599 or email infostejazzfestival.com.
4) Attend the Jazz Festival festivities. In addition to great music from the area’s best Jazz musicians, the festival will have food vendors, community vendors, kids’ zone, and a beer truck.  Suggested donation is $10. Your donation will fund the upkeep of St. Elizabeth’s historic church and our outreach to the community. This includes youth programs, social ministry to offer financial assistance for rent, food, clothing or utilities, food pantry, and more. SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, August 5.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – June 26

VBS is the last week of June! Monday June 26-Friday June 30. Students should arrive by 9:00 and be picked up at 12:00PM. VBS will be hosted by All Saints School, located near St Elizabeth at 3418 Noble Ave. Register your rising kindergarten through 5th grader by contacting the church’s office. Volunteer to help at VBS and we’ll waive the registration fee of $10 per child. For more information, or to register your child or to be a volunteer please email , Liz at [email protected].

CALLING ALL ZOOMERS!

If you participate in Sunday Masses through Zoom, please participate by leading the prayer of Spiritual Communion. You sign up for two to three Sundays through the year. When it is your turn, you will read the Spiritual Communion to everyone on Zoom. You do not need to host or moderate the Zoom Mass. All you do is unmute yourself and read the prayer. You choose the Sundays that work best for you. To volunteer, email Monique at [email protected] and include your name, phone number, and two to three Sundays to read the prayer.

HOSPITALITY MINISTRY NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

The Hospitality Ministers are the friendly people who greet and seat you for Mass. You already come to church, so why not come early and volunteer to serve at one Sunday a month? FOOD PANTRY NEEDS DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS

The Food Pantry will be open starting May 19. The Pantry will be open from 10-Noon, Monday through Friday. Volunteers are needed to staff the food pantry. If you can volunteer, call the Parish Office at (804)-329-4599. They will put you in touch with Helena, Joshuah or Mary. Please donate personal hygiene items: deodorant, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products. And food: spaghetti sauce, rice, honey, cereal, flour. Make all donations are not expired.
