CENTENNIAL EVENT ITALIAN DINNER – October 21

Our October Centennial Event, Italian Dinner, will be on Saturday, October 21st from 4pm-7pm in the Parish Hall. Please come whenever is convenient for you. All Parishioners are invited, free of charge. Please join us for homemade sauce, meatballs, pasta, salad, and more!

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE – October 21

The Eucharistic Diocesan Pilgrimage will be on October 21st, 2023. Pilgrims will be invited to talks, tours, Eucharistic Procession, Adoration, Music and Mass with Bishop Knestout, all at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. Registration is free but you must register before October 13th, 2023. There will be bus transportation to the shine leaving the Diocesan Pastoral Center at 7am on October 21st. Bus seats are limited so please register as soon as possible if you are interested in transportation to the Shrine. To register, call Eva at the Parish Office (804-329-4599 ext 10) during office hours.

HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CHURCH ANNIVERSARY MASS – October 22

Holy Rosary Catholic Church is celebrating their 70th Anniversary Mass on Sunday October 22nd, 2023 at 10am.

CHURCH CLEAN UP – November 4

We will have a church clean up on November 4th from 10am-12pm to clean the Church before the Centennial Closing Mass. All are invited to help.

As a parish, we affirm the US Catholic bishops’ reminder that in the Catholic tradition “responsible citizenship is a virtue, and participation in political life is a moral obligation.” Let us honor the sacred privilege of voting and get to the polls!

CLOTHING DONATIONS

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the clothing drive on October 8th! Due to a lack of space, we can no longer accept any clothing donations. Thank you for your understanding.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

On the first Friday of every month, starting October 6th we will have an hour of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament following Mass at noon.

YOUTH FAITH FORMATION

Starting Sunday, October 1st. Religious education will take place after 10:00AM Mass, for students K-7th grade in the Parish Office. Children ages 1-4 will be learning in the Nursery during Mass. Adult Session in Swahili in the sanctuary.
