RISC NEW OFFICE SPACE
RISC is now officially housed in Kingsley Hall at Virginia Union University. The move coincides with the hiring of RISC Associate Organizer, Ian Donaldson. Ian will help RISC Lead Organizer Emily Small with its operation and coordination.

HOUSING CALL TO ACTION
Monday, January 11th City Council Meeting starting at 5:30 pm on Zoom
The City’s Finance Committee passed a draft Ordinance that will create a dedicated stream of revenue for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund. Next is putting the funding up to vote by the City Council on Monday, January 11th. Once again, we are calling on the power of the people to voice your support. City Council dedicating a stream of funding for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund is something RISC has been seeking for almost a decade! To prepare for the big meeting, RISC members will rally at 5:30 pm on Zoom. At 6 pm, we will join the City Council meeting.
