CANVASS FOR LIVING WAGE – Saturday, July 30

Our parish is a member of the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy (VICPP), an organization of congregations and individuals from all faith backgrounds, which promotes social justice through education and advocacy in Virginia. On July 30, local teams of interfaith individuals will be inviting businesses to get living wage certified! The Virginia Living Wage initiative, a campaign of the VICPP, connects values-aligned consumers, job seekers, and employers to promote positive impact in local economies throughout the Commonwealth. If you are interested in joining the canvass event, email [email protected]. If you are an employer and are interested in recognition, you can find more details and apply at www.livingwagevirginia.org.
